I saw the movie yesterday in Washington DC. I find it appalling that people are allowed to brainwash their children in this way. In regards to spirituality, my daughter was given options when she was growing up. She ultimately chose her own set of beliefs, based on what is right for her.
This camp condones violence in the name of Jesus. I fear for the future of this country.
If you are interested, you can read more about the movie and my perceptions of it on my 360 page.

Scary, these kids are being taught to hate and kill in the name of Jesus. Jesus who would never encourage or support or want this type of thing to take place. Did you see Omen 3 the final battle or something. He was running a youth group to do things like this only for the evil one. Very similar idea and they are calling it Jesus camp instead.

This trailer is lucky that there is freedom of speech. I have seen the show 20/20 and this Jesus Camp is like, you are being held and then hypnotized.

Really disturbing. I shudder to imagine the shape these kids are going to be in when they grow up. These are the future Ken Hams and Kent Hovinds. Or worse, Popoffs and Roberts'.

Yes, and if people do not understand fundamentalism in Religion, they won't understand the program. I don't agree with all of their teachings, but that is their Religion, and it has to be respected.
The "age of accountability" usually begins in the early teens in most Religions. So I would think 7 year olds don't know what they're doing and what that fully means.

Ridiculous. If adults wish to subject themselves to such shenanigans that is their choice. To brainwash children too young to be able to make an educated choice for themselves is, in my own opinion, just wrong.
