God didnt't write anything, men did in his name and in the name of God,terrible things have happened!
How does God allow anyone to die?
Being sent to a batlle, having received the blessing of a priest and being forgiven in advance for the murders you will commit, knowing that the enemy soldiers have received the same blessings, for the same reason, looks like the work of God,or men?
There are three options.
A) There is no God
B) There is a God,but He doesn't care
C) There is a God,but He promised to let us control our fate, have free will and he can't break that promise.
No matter what option suits you,me or anyone, the message is clear-we must have the strength and the clarity of mind to live our lives to the fulllest.
Killing yourself is not a sin-it is just stupid, you are gonna die anyway,so what's the rush?
Aren't you curious enough to see what will happen if you try to lead a different life than the one you used to?
Old habbits die hard i know, but they can kill,so GET'EM FIRST!

It's called "Thou shalt not kill". He gave us free will, the choice to obey Him or not. He does, however give some people second chances. (No, I don't know why He gives them to some and not others, but He has His reasons.) Sometimes someone will live in spite of his or her attempt to take their life. Maybe God has a plan for that person, or maybe He sees something in that person that tells Him that person isn't really ready to die. But there are no guarantees, and it is a shame to waste a life. But the choice still falls in the hands of the person doing it.

God gave human beings free will, so that we aren't just robots.
Committing suicide is a choice that someone makes out of their free will. It is very unfortunate that people end up in a state where they are so desperate. But it is a choice they make.
Remember- One of the ten commandments is "thou shall not kill" and that includes oneself.
If you lost someone to suicide... i am sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies.

It's called Free Will. God gave everyone free will. We have the free will to follow Him, or not. We have the free will to turn the other cheek or seek out vengence. Suicide is our choice and God does not stop anyone because to do so would violate the free will.

Because God gave us free will. This is not what He wants for us, but we have the choice to follow Him or do whatever we want to do. Unfortunately, too many times we make the wrong choice.

Everyone has free will. They can chose to love God or not. Thou shalt not kill is also a Commandment of God's. If people chose to not love God and break his Commandments he will not interfere.

For the same reason that this supposed god, the flying spook in the sky, punishes non-believers when he controls a person's every action and thought, thus causing them to be a non-believer to begin with. It's a big myth to scare people straight. So commit suicide if you want; it has nothing to do with god. It's your choice.

You must be that new strain of stupid everybody is talking about.
God gives you the choice to do whats right and whats wrong its call choice. If God made every choice for you why would we need him. He'd be doing it for us.
Thus defeating the purpose of going to him on our own when we make a wrong or bad choice.

Again, God has given us free will. It is our decisions, good or bad, that we must deal with on this earth and face God with.
