First of all im Christian. God has blessed America because its a Christian nation, and with that said in this Blessed nation we have many thing that other nations dont. But with a job that takes 8 hours of your day, sleep that takes another 8 and entertainment (tv, internet, video games, etc) to take the rest we have put God on the back burner, thus making us a secular nation. But when someone in this nation does stand up and try to serve god sincerely, they are persecuted, and those that endure have a false view of the bible, brothers let me make something clear
#1. jesus is not God, he is the son of God, who gave his life for the will of God as should we all
#2. Jesus didnt do away with the Old testament, he came to forfill it, so dont just pick and choose what you want and ignoe the rest because you dont like that God was so called "mean"
#3 Jesus himself said " not everyone that saith unto me lord lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven, BUT HE THAT DOITH THE WILL OF GOD

WOW, YOU REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND!
Ephesians 2:15 Through his body on the cross, Christ put an end to the law with all its commands and rules. He wanted to create one new group of people out of the two. He wanted to make peace between them.
Colossians 2:14 He wiped out the written Law with its rules. The Law was against us. It opposed us. He took it away and nailed it to the cross.
Galatians 2:16 ...No one can be made right with God by obeying the law.
Galatians 2:21 ...What if a person could become right with God by obeying the law? Then Christ died for nothing!
Galatians 5:4 Some of you are trying to be made right with God by obeying the law. You have been separated from Christ. You have fallen away from God’s grace... The ONLY verse that talks about falling from grace, and they did it by trying to follow the law!
--->Jesus said he didn’t come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it. (Matt 5:17) The effect was the same. Once fulfilled it was no longer in effect. The very next verse, Matthew 5:18, looks forward to the time when the law would be set aside. "...Not even the smallest stroke of a pen will disappear from the Law UNTIL EVERYTHING IS COMPLETED."
On the cross, Jesus' last recorded saying, "It is finished," is an important milestone. Because of Jesus life, Satan had been defeated. The law was finished and would no longer stand between God and mankind.
The 10 commandments along with the rest of the law ("commands and rules" from Ephesians 2:15) were "set aside" when they were fulfilled or completed at Jesus' resurrection. We are no longer bound by that law.
STOP LYING TO PEOPLE AND LEADING THEM ASTRAY.
Lk 17:1 Jesus spoke to his disciples. “Things that make people sin are sure to come,” he said. “But how terrible it will be for the person who brings them! 2 Suppose people lead one of these little ones to sin. It would be better for those people to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck. 3 So watch what you do. “If your brother sins, tell him he is wrong. Then if he turns away from his sins, forgive him.

America is far from a "Christian nation" and has not been in many, many years. The stats have shown that for many years.
#1. Jesus is God. John 1:
#2. Jesus did not do away with the Old Testament, He completed it, filled it full so it could not hold anything more. It was completed with the crucification. Colossians
#3. How correct. Remember, The devil believed and even shook at the tought of Jesus/God. He was not saved so takes a little more.

Just ONE point and I will leave the rest of the points unsaid:
If we are to go and observe the Old Testament, then we have to keep the sabbath and we have to kill the people that break the sabbath, right?
We have to do animal sacrafices.
There are too many things to even list that we would have to do to keep the sabbath. We would have to become orthodox Jews and even they don't keep all the law..
Heb 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Heb 10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be on His shoulder and His name shall be called Wonderful Councellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Who is the Mighty God spoken of there? - the "child born to us...a son given to us". Hebrew 1:3, that Jesus Christ is "upholding the universe by his word of power"..How could anyone be more almighty than that? Matthew 28:18 Jesus Christ has "all authority/power" in heaven and in earth". By definition this is what the word almighty means. Therefore, Jesus Christ is almighty. Isaiah 10:20-21 "those remaining over of Israel ...will certainly support themselves upon Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, in trueness, a mere remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the Mighty God". Jeremiah 32:18 "the true God, the great One, the Mighty One, Jehovah of armies being his name..." So since Jehovah God is the Mighty God and Jesus is the Mighty God who must Jesus be? Not enought time nor space, but I will welcome any further information from you write to me. Love, be bless.

Guess that means that if your dad's name is Jones that you are not a Jones since Jesus is not God but His Son? If you look, Jesus also said that to suffer for His sake is something to be glad of, not to whine and feel put upon as a lot do. So what if you are persecuted if you stand up for Jesus!! Count it a blessing as Jesus said to do and be happy you can be persecuted for His sake if you are a true Christian. They nailed Him to a tree and He never uttered a word of condemnation. So what has anyone done to you today?

THE GOD OF HEAVEN IS THE LORD
First of all it must be known who the God of heaven is, since upon that all the other things depend. Throughout all heaven no other than the Lord alone is
acknowledged as the God of heaven. There it is said, as He Himself taught,
That He is one with the Father; that the Father is in Him, and He in the Father; that he who sees Him sees the Father; and that everything that is holy goes forth from Him (John 10:30, 35; 14:9-11; 16:13-15).
I have often talked with angels on this subject, and they have invariably declared that in heaven they are unable to divide the Divine into three, because they know and perceive that the Divine is One and this One
is in the Lord. They also said that those of the church who come from this world having an idea of three Divine beings cannot be admitted into heaven,
since their thought wanders from one Divine being to another; and it is not allowable there to think three and say one.{1} Because in heaven everyone speaks from his thought, since speech there is the immediate product of the thought, or the thought speaking. Consequently, those in this world who have divided the Divine into three, and have adopted a different idea of each, and have not made that idea one and centered it in the Lord, cannot be received into heaven, because in heaven there is a sharing of all thoughts, and therefore if any one came thinking three and saying one, he would be at once found out and rejected. But let it be known that all those who have not separated what is true from what is good, or faith from love, accept in the other life, when they have been taught, the heavenly idea of the Lord, that He is the God of the universe. It is otherwise with those who have separated faith from life, that is, who have not lived according to the precepts of true faith (Heaven and Hell n.2).

#1Have you ever heard the water, Ice steam.story. That is what God is. God is christ& the Holy Sperit in one like water is also ice & steam that is why God is called " the three in one". #2God blesses both the good & bad. The good get the better blessings but God does bless sinners . Remember the verse" Gods wrath falls on the just & unjust" #3Good deeds WILL NOT get you to heaven . The only way is to except him as your savior & live for HIM.

well your only question is in the title ... the rest of your query is just random statements.
The reason Christians are perceived as being weak is because they take the verse "the meek shall inherit the earth" way too seriously. I also feel that most christians let fear run their lives and that causes them to reflect weakness.

Kill homosexuals and witches? i think of maximum persons agree there are no witches. and how I see it, God created homosexuals, yet there is not any ingredient in attempting to cajole people who hate the gays of it. it rather is time for a revision of Christianity, yet whilst it became into tried, people who took area might little question be condemned in simple terms as Luther became into whilst he broke from the Catholic Church. Your pastor sound VERY radical and that i might by no potential attend a church the place a guy preached killing docs who prepare abortion. i would be unable to kill or hate homosexuals, so-referred to as witches, or docs who administer abortion. extremely i will prepare what Jesus preached- to not decide, hate, or kill. For that, i'm not a vulnerable Christian, i'm a extra effective one.
