What about having one big party - call it "turning the big O" (since everyone is turning a number with a 0 at the end! Have finger foods (to keep it simple) and drinks, but all start with the letter O. Orange juice (with spirits), oregano (on pizza bites), olive oil (fondue), etc.
Have a wonderful time and make it ORIGINAL, sorry I couldn't resist that last O.

You have to throw a party for all three whether a surprise or by telling them thats what you are planning. But you have to make it original to each of the three, maybe by having photos of your sons when they were younger blown up and stick on the wall, your hubby a photo in his younger days as well, make the theme original for all ages, and do all the food, yourself, have a brilliant time, organsing something like this and enjoy yourself as well, cos lets face it you have given birth to your sons, brought them up and married to your husband for so long, you deserve a treat as well. so enjoy the planning and preparation and try not to do too much at the party yourself and just enjoy being a host. Have fun.

Quite a few years ago, I was asked a similar question. After many hours of thinking, I came up with the idea of a family party based on "this is your life". I got as much information as possible about each individual, and contacted as many people as possible from their past to attend. It was a huge success. Hope this helps, good luck.

As it's going to be expensive, they will probably have to pay for themselves, but how about a city break, like New York, or somewhere in Europe?
If that is not possible, then hire a hall and have a really big party, with a big banner "We are 130!"

First - You know what they like so you need to start from there. I would make it one great big Birthday bash. I would have photos of each one depicting the highlights of their life or a video of each if possible. If possible, for a nice surprise, send them on a get-a-way trip. this will be a pig party and you will probably need to rent a big hall. have a big cake with their names and birth dates on it. Pick a theme and have a blast.

I've had a similar senario this year with several big birthdays in a short space of time. My advice to you is NOT one big party, cos they will all feel like nothing special has been done for them singly. Do somethimg special for each of them. It doesn't have to be expensive, or a party, they will understand. Good luck!

When my sister turned 50 (well weeks beforehand) I put together a book of memories.

I wrote or phoned everyone in the family, aunts uncles etc. and her friends new and old and asked them to give me their memories of Lesley. And asked if they had an old photo of her (she may never have seen before)

It was great, I added poems and my thoughts about her too.

She loved it and so has everyone who saw it.

Do they have anything in common that they like to do? Send the three of them to a Football game in a limo, or to some other event they like to watch. Then you can relax and make a nice dinner for them (and their familes)
