There is a verse where the writer says while speaking to God "you knew me in my mothers womb".
It is my opinion that since life ends when the hearts stops beating, that life begins when the heart starts beating.
Thats about week 3 or 4 i think.

It is said that the spirit can enter any time from conception on.
Myself, I don't think there are any simple answers. I feel we do
live a range of lives, and we have all taken life.
Therefore, an abortion could be karmic. In that, say the father
wants the child, and the mother lets the child go. (Just an
example).
This is not always a case where that womans spirit was hurt by
the mans before. Just that this experience must occur to
balance things. And it's said our spirits know when they come
into this world that they will have to experience it, and other
spirits volunteer a life to bring the experience about.
Now I'm sure everybody will like to use this. But the majority
of abortions are the result of irresponsibilty.
As far as karma, I've realized that is sometimes our Creator
answering our prayers. We want to get even.
FORGIVENESS is the key to salvation.

This is my belief based on my understanding of God and my understanding of right and wrong. The moment the sperm fertilizes the egg, it becomes something that can develop into a baby. I believe it is at that point that the egg and the sperm became human. If God didn't mean for that human to exist, the sperm would never have been able to fertilize the egg.
Any maternal woman who has ever had a miscarriage early on in the pregnancy knows that they grieve for the child that was lost. Even though the child isn't truly developed yet. If the zygote were not a child, we wouldn't grieve, would we?

No scriptural guidance as far as I know, but I think once science discovered that it takes a sperm and an egg to create life, that moment is when Christians believe that life begins.

How about as soon as the sperm fertilizes the egg? No scriptural guidence on it as they considered life a life as soon as it was began. Even a doctor will tell you that life begins at the time the sperm makes its entry into the egg.

No "church" has any "theory" about evolution or introduction. bypass learn what a "theory" is and also you'll see why. the first living organisms got here from non-living count prepared into an organism able to "life." no longer from nowhere. What the first living organism became or precisely the way it grew to change into prepared to be "alive" we do not recognize yet. that does no longer mean "god did it," it skill we do not recognize yet. The earth shaped contained in the proto-image voltaic nebula of our forming sunlight, coming together by gravitational interaction, about 4.5 billion years in the past. it truly is not any longer an opinion, it really is a reality properly documented by skill of information. i will't probable clarify how organic issues artwork in case you do not have a straightforward understanding of organic issues. bypass get some straightforward preparation in physics, biology, chemistry, astronomy, and mathematics...then you fairly will be able to look at and evaluate the information all on your own. It takes attempt and gaining understanding of to appreciate how issues artwork, sitting round conserving "god did it" is lazy. Peace.

Noooo, there's no scripture about that... since the concept of cells, sperm, and eggs weren't conceived until I think the 1700's.

Christian vision, even in a pre-scientific age, has always been shaped by words
like those of Psalm 139:
For thou didst form my inward parts,
thou didst knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise thee, for thou art fearful and wonderful.
Wonderful are thy works!
Thou knowest me right well;
my frame was not hidden from thee,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately wrought in the depths of the earth.
Thy eyes beheld my unformed substance;
in thy book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
