THE GOD OF HEAVEN IS THE LORD
First of all it must be known who the God of heaven is, since upon that all the other things depend. Throughout all heaven no other than the Lord alone is
acknowledged as the God of heaven. There it is said, as He Himself taught,
That He is one with the Father; that the Father is in Him, and He in the Father; that he who sees Him sees the Father; and that everything that is holy goes forth from Him (John 10:30, 35; 14:9-11; 16:13-15).
I have often talked with angels on this subject, and they have invariably declared that in heaven they are unable to divide the Divine into three, because they know and perceive that the Divine is One and this One
is in the Lord. They also said that those of the church who come from this world having an idea of three Divine beings cannot be admitted into heaven,
since their thought wanders from one Divine being to another; and it is not allowable there to think three and say one.{1} Because in heaven everyone speaks from his thought, since speech there is the immediate product of the thought, or the thought speaking. Consequently, those in this world who have divided the Divine into three, and have adopted a different idea of each, and have not made that idea one and centered it in the Lord, cannot be received into heaven, because in heaven there is a sharing of all thoughts, and therefore if any one came thinking three and saying one, he would be at once found out and rejected. But let it be known that all those who have not separated what is true from what is good, or faith from love, accept in the other life, when they have been taught, the heavenly idea of the Lord, that He is the God of the universe. It is otherwise with those who have separated faith from life, that is, who have not lived according to the precepts of true faith (Heaven and Hell n.2).

The way I understand it is this;
You must take it from a vantage point where you don't scrutinise the details too much 'cos it would make you cringe because it all smacks quite un-subtly of incestuousness.
How an entity copulated with a married woman and was made into flesh. So in effect the result of this product (Jesus) had sex with his mother to produce Himself.
how many sins have already been transgressed there? covetousness, adultery, lying, incest...?
Despite that I am a Devout christian; i'm not sure these passages were meant to be portrayed like this really...
I believe the rest of the bible but i've always had a bit of a problem with the explanation of the 'imaculate conception' bit
it doesn't feel at all immaculate at all to me. it feels down right dirty. Anyone; Please feel free 2b offended. I truly sympathise.

Hi,
In Islam Jesus is a very respscted Prophet of Allah (God), he is a man.
He was sent with the Gospel which is the Word of God, however the original and correct Gospel has been altered and tamperd with that it is no longer the Word of God.
Allah (God) sent another Prophet after Jesus, who was to be the last and final one, whose name was Muhammad (or Ahmad). He was sent with the Qur'an, which is the Word of God. The Qur'an is in Arabic, and to this day (from over 14 hundred years ago) still remains untampered with in the oriogianl language Arabic. A translation of the meaning of the Quran, is not the Word of God, but rather just the meaning translated into another language....therefore there is only ONE version of the Holy Book in Islam, unlikeChristianity, which has countless versions.
Bottom line, Jesus is a man, born to a virgin woman [Maryam (Mary)]...this is possible for the One who created us when we had been nothing, just cos Jesus had no father does not mean we attribute him to his Creator!!! Adam was born with no father or mother!
The base of Islam is to worship Allah alone without any partners...worship your Creator, not that which He created...think about it, it makes sense!

Think of the Trinity as an egg the shell, white and yolk.
Together as one but 3 separate things.
Jesus said no one comes to the Father unless they come through me.
Thing of Jesus as Gods Representative on Earth, as for told throughout the scriptures.

We are all parts of God pangel.
Each and every one of us are God in the flesh.
Brother Jesus was no exception to this rule.
This is the way that it works.
Once God had an absolutly lovely idea. An idea that She found so perfect, so beautyful that She did not want to exist another second with out it. So God thought a part of herself to have enongh individuality to see it's self as seperate as a unit as an individual, as you.
God did this so that She might have you to love and so that he might have you to love him.
There is no point where God ends and something else begins. All is of God and there is nothing to be saved from except our own confusion about God, about ourselves.
Love and blessings

He who has the son has life he who does not have the son does not have life.
yes he is God Immanuel means God with us.
Titus 2:13 -"the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ"
Thomas's statement in John 20:28 where he said "My Lord and My God" to Jesus when he saw him., Jesus did not refuse this title as opposed to jonh in revelation who fell down before an angel who rebuked him and told john not to as the angel was only a fellow servant
i struggled with this concept when I became a christian at 18 as I knew that this was the issue that seperated out the true church from the cults and indeed all other religions. Jesus said to folk in the bible "Who do you say I am"
there are many parts of the bible which underscore this truth but what is needed is for you to ask God himself I am confident that he will make it plain to you
any one who believes in his will not be disapointed

Those who come to God in The Way God proscribes will receive His free gift of Salvation.... God made the final sacrifice so that all who would accept God's Will and repent of their Sins could come to Him without being bound by all of The Laws as was The Way before the final Sacrifice.
In the simplest terms... God makes the rules... If you wish to come to Him you must follow His rules... and acnowledging The Final Sacrifice as it is intended for you is part of God's rules.
I accept email questions concerning the basics of The True Christian Faith. All honest seekers may ask.

This is even difficult to answer. Jesus is God, but just to confuse you God is three persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each one different but part of the same God. The Father is the overall Creator of the universe, the Son is the one who came to bring us salvation, the Holy Spirit is the one who puts God's plan into action and works with Christians to do this.
One way of looking at this is a triangle. A triangle has three points each point is different from the others but is still part of the same triangle.
So it is with God.
---------- Father
------------ is
Son is God is Holy Spirit

JESUS!..... everyone's getting annoyed over this question, what are we, Muslims?
Think we need to take this question at face value and stop being over-sensitive for a start.
Jesus has multiple representations depending on the faith, so if "pangel" perceives Jesus as God then why not? The fact that she might be a little naive to religious ideas, should not be disparaged here.

Because GOD requires sacrafice in order to be forgiven. Jesus is the SON of God, and WAS the sacrafice for all sins.
Jesus is a seperate person from GOD but they are one in the sense of spirit.
as a side note, even the devil & demons believe in God, belief in and of itself means nothing

Jesus is not God. He is the son of God. We accept Jesus because of the sacrifice he made so we could get to God through faith in Christ. Jesus is part of the triumvirate that is God. or an aspect thereof.
