I don't think that telling him that you like him is pushing it too far. If you rubbed the guys crotch, then you are being forward. Relax, you're doing ok.

Absolutley not . Men today have obstacles that your grandparents have never ever faced before . Just ask any guy what it was like going to college during the 1980's or 1990's . Today more than ever men need a green light to proceed .

All men are pretty much different. It probably depends on the type of guy he is. If he is shy and less confident with women then it probably will help, but if he is confident then he will basically know himself and will proceed when he feels ready if he likes you. Self-respect is the most appealing character in a romantic partner. make sure that you are not the only one feeling that way. I think you just need to relax and let things happen the way they should.
