Because we have figured out a way to keep people who should be dead from disease, old age, murder and accident alive and well even if it is a miserable existence.
No other planet or group of intelligence would be so stupid as to not realize that intervening with natures course is detrimental to the life it provides.
to many rabbits = wolf population grows
to many wolves = rabbit population declines
-vs-
to much nature = humans conquer and destroy
to many humans = nature dies
Answer: no natural predators or diseases means a whole lot of unneeded life. Other planets, I hope, would be more balanced.

Because there isn't any other planet that is known to have life on it. But to say that we are the only planet to have life on it in this huge Universe that in the whole scheme of things we are only a speck of dust compared to the rest. We at best can only say that we don't know.

Because we do not know of the other planets that have even more life than Earth. If we knew of them then the Earth would not be the only known planet, but we don't, so it isn't. AEN

Your question explains itself -- Earth is the only KNOWN planet with life on it.
Now then, if you mean "do you think that there are other planets out there with life?" --- it's possible, but, as Mr. Sagan would say -- "extraordinary circumstances require extraordinary proof"

How many planets has Mankind been to? It ain't like we've been completely throughout the universe, right? Not even our own galaxy. So, how many planets do we really know very much about at all?

it was the only planet god would put us on that wasn't the closest to the center of the universe, so that we wouldn't screw up the whole universe.Look what we have done so far to this planet in the few hundred years we have been doing industry. We have ruined a planet that has been around for billions of years.

what do i personally think? no, another planet may be just beginning "life" on their planet.
Whether it is true or not, scientists have not been able to locate one with life.

No, I think it's naive to think we are the only life in the universe. It is vast and I would bet we are not the most advanced there is out there.

I sure don't think that. If anything, we are an insignificant planet in an insignificant galaxy
