Good question. I do not know any ordinary people. All people are extraordinary in some way, shape, form, or fashion. Perhaps the ordinary is just misunderstood or hiding behind a marginally brighter light.

Theres a few different ways that I know of...
You could become famous/infamous via a talent that you posess.
You could walk around preaching and denote yourself a god or prophet.
You could do something really over the top, like paint your name over an entire city (gets attention quite well).
Do things for people out of the goodness of your heart, to the point that you are described as a saint.
Or... the best way... Be yourself, it doesn't matter if millions of people remember you, the thing is you don't need to be Mick Jagger, to be immortal.
Because, it's not fame that makes a person, its the person that makes the person. After your death people will remember you, especially your friends and family, and no matter what you have done in your life, they will always look back at you and think, 'you know what, he/she was far from ordinary.'

Nobody is ordinary we are all individuals, we all have something just a little different or more from anyone else.

If you want to immortalise yourself then you must do something tat makes a difference of huge proportion, inventions and polotics are probably the most popular these days as discoveries and historic battles are just a little thin on the ground these days

Immortalise? No one is ordinary. God gave every one of us special gifts, and if we use them for what He gave them to us for, we'll all be immortal.
