I sent this message to my best friend (shes a girl, I'm a guy, we are 15 and have known each other for 2 years):

"Ok, this is way too serious for me, so iI can't believe I'm writing it, but anyway; I don't know if you know, so I just want to tell you; I really do care for you, and I'm just saying it, because I know I don't show it or say it, but I do. Because, i don't know, I guess i can seem like a dick sometimes, and maybe its because I'm introverted or maybe because I'm manic depressive, but I just realized i really dont show it. So anyway, you mean alot to me, and i do really care about you.

Damn, I have got to exit this realm of seriousness before I implode..."

She replied back, in total acceptance, but when i saw her in person, nothing was different. Is this a good thing? What does it mean?

Well assuming your both in high school, and your both young sometimes it’s hard to deal with emotions and such. Just like you said you sometimes was a dick and stuff. She might need a couple of days to sort it all out and see how she feels about you
.....Kinda like cold feel
Hope everything works out, it's hard to put your heart out like that :D

I'm sorry but what you e-mailed her didn't sound like it came from your heart and sounds kind of stupid (realm of seriousness?). Try e-mailing her again and this time, make it simple. How about this? "Sorry about that weird stuff I e-mailed. I was just trying to tell you that I like you alot even though I don't always act like it."

My only opinion is this (and sorry, it's probably not what you're looking for): I just got a glimpse backward to being a teenager again. Teenagers are so melodramatic and charged with emotions! Enjoy it now while you can.

It means that whatever you did to make her feel bad, or whatever reason you wrote that..she accepted your apology. She's most likely just moved on. Don't worry. Its all good.

It is hard to tell what you mean from this, do you want her to kno you care for her as a friend, as more than a friend? What do you want her to do with this information?

it most likely means that she accepted it or it did not phase her in any way because she already knows you care about her otherwise she would not be your best friend

what did you expect? for her to fall madly in love with you? if you want that then don't be sarcastic...really show her by giving her flowers and stuff like that...i'm sure she can take a hint..good luck

She proably thinks that if she changes anything, it might ruin your friendship, and because she said yes should be good enough for you!
