My apologies for those who are more full of themselves than full of Jesus. Jesus said that the way people would know we are His disciples is by our love--but some people are so intent on being right and pounding the truth into others that they forget that they have no real love in them except for what they let Jesus put in them--and if they're too busy doing what they want to put the emphasis on themselves than on Him, that sort of thing unfortunately becomes all too common. Drop me a line at chad@jesusfreak.com if you'd like to talk.

I guess it's because Christians cannot imagine a person who can be so sure that God does not exist. And an atheist happens to be that very person.
A Christian can tolerate a person who is NOT SURE about the existence of God(even though that is great absurdity!), but a person who flatly says "THERE IS NO GOD" takes on another level beyond human reasoning.

"Christians", followers of christ, live as Christ lived...with love for all man.
Satan himself knows every word of the bible, and is in no way a follower of Christ....just as everyone who types, "I am a Christian," is NOT what they claim to be.
A Christian will treat you with love and kindness no matter what your beliefs....that's how you will know the difference.
I dont know you, but I do apologize to people of all beliefs, on behalf of those who claim to be followers of Christ. Although, truly they are not of my beliefs, the fact that they claim to be, gives me a bad name.
If Christians possess such hate, spite, and conceit....who in their right mind would want to be one?
No matter what our beliefs, we set the reputation for what we stand for. Think about that when you are bashing others. You have just condemned yourself, your beliefs, for all to see.

This Question and Answer is overrun with atheists and the title is religion and spirituality. Atheists are just trying to disrupt and convert people to atheism. No need to have sympathy for the devil's purpose.

True, I see much of that.........and vice versa.
But I also see much kindness from both camps. "Christians" are too often not being Christ like.... that is what the word means isn't it?..
Before you try to beat me up, I am a follower of Christ.
