Do not wash your dog everyday - dogs weren't meant to be washed like that, and it can cause some serious problems. My suggestion, don't put your nose right up to the dogs mouth or fur if it bothers you. We have a heavy mosquito problem in Florida, so sometimes I spray skin so soft around my dogs - not directly on them but in their general area if we are going to be spending several hours out after dark. That smells pretty good.

The best thing to give your dog to make its coat smell better is first a BATH. Be sure to treat for fleas at this time. Sometimes dogs develop allergies to fleas which causes a "Hot Spot" on their back. This can become smelly.
They need a CLEAN sleeping area.
A diet of GOOD DOG FOOD. Use the same brand. Try to ELIMINATE PEOPLE SCRAPS.
I guarantee this will work!

there really is nothing you can use that's on the market because your dog is going to lick it's butt and other private parts, but as far as the dog's body, I use mane and tail shampoo, dogs, horses and humans can use it
