For many cats, one can is too much at one time.
Feed only 1/2 can in the morning
1/2 can at night.
Leave dry food buffet out all day.
Purina is good brand.
Friskies is lousy brand.

maybe your cat ate something else in your house besides just the fancy feast which made your cat sick, It could have had part of a hair ball from grooming to much. Or your cat could be getting sick.. If the throwing up continues you should take your cat to the vet. heres a website with some more information....
hope this helps : ) http://www.fanciers.com/cat-faqs/medical-info.shtml

Fancy Feast is a really awful brand of cat food. Try some cans of Natural Balance. I bet he won't throw that up.

Fancy Feast is quite a disgusting cat food. Try something else. That website has a lot of useful info about feline nutrition, and lists several good brands. I have my cats on Wellness (occasionally, I buy the Nutro Max Cat food from PetSmart). They both love it.

Give him a little fresh grass every week or so. It aids in digestion. He may puke that up too if he eats too much of it so give him a little each time. That should stop him from throwing up his regular food.
