Speaking for myself, I love it when a guy can make me laugh. It keeps things light, comfortable and happy. I look forward to spending time with a guy like that because I feel so much more relaxed...like I can be myself and I'll have a great time.
However, there is always a time and place when things have to be serious. When your woman needs you to listen to her, tell her what you think of something, or give serious advice, that is not the time to be clowning around. It shows that you respect her when you are serious and funny at the right times.
Other than that, put on the red nose!

The girls that seek guys that "make them laugh" aren't searching for clowns. Not all humorous guys are clowns. There's a very fine line between the two but there is still a line.

I dated a guy who claimed to be a comedian once, but all he ended up being was annoying. C'mon-I want to laugh, but I'd also like to have some normal conversations, too. I think funny is great, but too much of anything is just no good.
