yes! that happens whenever I take a nap, and sleep longer than 30 minutes. I believe it has something to do with what level of sleep you obtain. When you only sleep for 1/2 hour or less the body can only get to the first stages of sleep, but when you sleep at night for hours the body actually enters deep sleep.

It's not uncommon to feel like that if you have taken a long nap (longer than 30 minutes). It probably means your sleep phases didn't get to progress all the way through. This is an issue with napping longer than 20 minutes. It can leave you feeling "foggy". This is all based on the assumption that there are no drugs or alcohol involved in helping you to fall asleep.

easily, the longer my son (9months) sleeps for his nap, the extra desirable he sleeps at nighttime! We often attempt for a three hour nap after lunch. If he sleeps that long, he will sleep in direction of the nighttime (7:30pm till 7 - 8am). on the instant in spite of the undeniable fact that he purely slept an hour and a 0.5 meaning one in all 3 issues, he will awaken around 4:30 and it will take an hour earlier he is going lower back to sleep, he will wake 3 or 4 cases for a quick 5 minute crying consultation earlier going lower back to sleep OR he would be wide awake at 6am without desire of going lower back to sleep. permit her sleep. Sleep begets sleep and the extra nicely rested the infant, the happier and the extra desirable they sleep at nighttime!

It probably happens to everyone at some time or another. Check out the possibility of a sleep disorder of some sort. I know someone who sleepwalks, and does all kinds of activity during the night, waking up to feel totally out of it and wiped out in the morning.

Yes. Or napping after eating lunch and I feel like food when I get up. Really, like FOOD! But yeah. Maybe you should get a drink of water or something. Is this a real question?

With me it is usually a sign that I am seriously tired and worn out. I have awakened at my mother's house, and not known where I was at first. It could also be hangover from Benadryl or other medications. No worries.
