Asking people to obey laws has nothing to do with racism. However, societies can and do make laws that are quite racist. (Jim Crow Laws) etc.

The people who want open borders and illegals to have every advantage imaginable say we are. If we do not get control of our borders it will one day come back to bite us again. Even some countries our government considers backward control their borders better than we do.

Also, poverty is a mindset. People who grow up in it and live around catch it like a disease.
