Not necessarily. Breathing problems could be many things...asthma, thyroid problems, heart trouble, problems with the lungs, anxiety. The best thing to do is go to a doctor and have testing done. It's better than suffering. Plus if you have a serious condition, the longer you wait to have it seen about, the worse it could become.

Not your arteries.
It could mean your air passages are clogged, though.
Mucous!
Asthma
Bronchitis
Pneumonia
(Pneumothorax)
(**Pulmonary Embolism**)
Sinusitis
Viral Ilness
You say "nothing big" but if you have a swollen red leg, chest pains, coughing up blood, recent immobility (surgery, long plane flight or bus trip etc), or cancer you should be seen in an emergency department ...
You should consider getting checked out by your doctor in any case.
Pulmonary Embolism is the only arterial clogging that we could be talking about here. This is when a clot (usually from the legs) returns with your venous blood to the heart and gets pumped out to the lungs (to collect oxygen) but instead of collecting oxygen like the rest of the blood, this clot blockjs off a blood vessel.
This can cause shortness of breath.

every big problem starts very little in the form of little increments and develop into monsters,as an auto technician we neglect to see the telltale signs of impending disasters.the heart pumps blood through the veins and they carry blood that is purified and unverified around the body, the rate of consumption is as important as the rate of purification of the blood,if this Symtoms is frequent enough to cause even slight discomforts ,you should consult with a physician and look at your weight and cholesterol level,of all the jewels in the world the most irreplaceable thing that you can have is your health, take care,

Breathing has no relation to arteries.
Breathing problems can be caused by smoking, second hand smoke, air pollution, or allergies.
Any kind of breathing problem can be greatly helped with Primatene products.
I use Primatene Mist for years. Works great.

No but you could be experiencing asthma, and sometimes too much stress can cause breathing problems. Speak to a doctor if it gets too serious.
