you look at the magzines of the haircuts that you wanna do or print out a picture form online that you want your hair cut like?
please let me know because 2moro, i'm going to a salon to get my hair cut for my first time!! i'm so excited!!!

Both! Do your own reseadrch on what you want your hair to look like! Take some of your favorite styles from magazines and print outs so you have a general idea of what you want, and when looking at magazines in the store, show them to your hairstylist so he/she knows as well. Make sure you tell the hairstylist exactly what you want!

Look at both but be sure to pick out a picture of someone that has the same hair thickness and texture as you. If not it will not be anything like the picture

I try to get an idea of what I want ahead of time, but I look at the book there to explain it better. If you can find a picture on line though, I would take that too.

no.. go to the salon and their u will find hair magazines.. its better to choose from one of them cuz it shows the cut from different sides and the hairdresser can also give u his opinion about the cut.. u know its his job so he can see what suites u better.. good luck

yes i look in the hair magazines all the time or online for a new style the hairdressers dont mind because they know what you are looking for and its easier then you trying to explain it without a visual for them to study.

i dont do anything. i explain it in words, and the stylist will get what i mean
but , a lot of people do what your saying too. i would cut it out of a magazine.

find a celebrity's hair you like and print a pic of her out (or him...)
and give it to the hair stylist.

they talk about guys or what happen to a fine celebrity like Will Smith or they talk about comedy shows like "The Jamie Fox Show".
