it's not a martini unless it is made with gin. There are plenty of sweet frou frou choclate drinks out there... but it isn't really a martini unless it is made with gin. and I can't imagine juniper would taste very good with choclate

Dove Chocolate Martini Mix

The best one that I've made so far consists of:
~a chilled martini glass with a Hershey's chocolate syrup drizzle for decoration
~2 oz. Stoli Vanilla vodka
~1 1/2 oz. Bailey's
~1 1/2 oz. Godiva Chocolate Liquour
Mix ingredients in a shaker and strain into martini glass.

It's really easy and you can adjust the measurements to taste. A lot of people at the bar I work at prefer more Godiva and less vodka. It all depends upon the person.

The first answer sounds like a great cocktail, but it's not really a Martini. Serving a cocktail in a martini glass does not make it a martini, although that seems to be the trend.
If you want a true chocolate martini try this...
buy a jar of Dove Dark Chocolate topping, your favorite gin (or vodka) Keep gin or vodka in freezer. chill martini glass just before using. When ready mix 2 1/2 oz gin or vodka with 1 tsp Dove chocolate, stir until mixed and pour into chilled glasses. garnish with a chocolate curl if you want to get fancy.

Ingredients

2 ounces of Godiva Dark Chocolate liqueur
2 ounces of Creme de Cacao
1 ounce of half-and-half
2 ounces of freezing Goldenbarr Chocolate vodka
1 tablespoon of shaved white chocolate
2 well chilled, classy looking martini glasses
The mix

Combine the Godiva Chocolate liqueur, Creme de Cacao, and Goldenbarr Chocolate vodka into a cocktail shaker half full of cracked ice.
Shake for one full minute.
Add the half-and-half to the shaker and gently swirl (circular motion).
Strain your fine chocolate creation into your martini glasses.
Top each martini with shaved chocolate.
You'll be in chocolate heaven.
Although I didn't specify it in the recipe, the presence of a beautiful gal with flowing blonde hair on a white stallion will only serve to make this martini recipe even better!

I have no idea, but you should try a cheesecake martini. SO GOOD! All it is is vanilla vodka, cranberry juice, and pineapple juice. Try it. It's yummy.
