reading some of their garbage about Christ. From now on I will not read anything negative about my precious Lord. Enough is enough.

Good stance. I agree that you should just not read it when it becomes negative. Commenting on the others negative comments just makes things worse.

Although I am Atheist, I do respect others beliefs and religions - Only as long as they do not attack my point of view first.

You will not know that it is negative until you read it...

The bible was written by a man or men, not a god. Don't believe everything you read. If there was any truth to it, you probably wouldn't know about it. We live in a world of Internet and fairy tales don't you know....

Religion, money, politics etc. are what the powers that be use to divide and rule us...

If there are so many different GODS then why don't they fight it out instead of us doing it? or maybe somewhere, someone is just playing a game with us....

People like to "correct" other people. It makes them feel superior. Me smart; you dumb. Me wise; you foolish. Me more special than you.

If you're a Christian though, you should understand that the biggest and most hateful critics of Jesus aren't atheists: they're religious Jews. Atheists will simply tell you that Jesus is either a fairy tale or that he was a philosopher.

Jews, now. What they say about Jesus is so nasty that they dare not say it when they are outnumbered by Christians. But if you read the Talmud, you'll hear Jesus called a bastard son of harlotry who sinned conspicuously throughout his life and, after his richly deserved execution, went to Hell where he has since been suffering damnation in a boiling cesspit.

You'll not hear an atheist make such claims. We're not exactly your friends... unless you compare us with Jews, that is.

I agree with you! I decided I am no longer going to answer any question from people with dirty pictures or the what should I do folks. I don't really come on here to change people, I really do it for fun, but some people are just disgusting. There are better sites where nasty people stay away, but you don't get to see answers until the next day.

Because it is the religion section. Last time I checked Christianity was a belief.

yes, it is hard to read some of the atrocities that are laid on Jesus. Do you think that it was like that as He walked with his cross to be crucified? I would stand by him now, just like his followers did then.

"father forgive them for they know not what they do" takes on a whole new meaning here....
