Can a Long distant relationship work with someone you see only a few times a year?

Contrary to what most people believe, it can be done. Both people involved have to be able to trust each other fully. And more important, trust theirselves. Without the trust both ways, insecurities will get the best of the attempt at a long distance relationship. It is harder for those people that are used to having everyday contact with each other, but phone calls, text messages, or emails would be great ways to offset the fact that you can't visually be around each other. If you are determined and a strong person. What can stop you?

YES, but only if you really want it to. I'm in a long distant relationship right now and we've been dating for over a year. He calls me everyday but not cause I wanted him too but because he wants to. And I try to see him as often as time lets us and it can be difficult but it's worth it if you feel their worth it!!!

i lasted on and off with this guy for 4 years and only saw him once it was really hard but he called me almost everyday to talk and im still with him 5 years on oct. 31 {our friend hooked us up on holloween but we didnt see each other until the following july 4th } gonna see eachother on thanksgiving .so ide say yes

Things can only truly to are truly dedicated towards eachother, but in all honesty one of you will need to make a move to move closer or in with eachother or you will eventually split because distance does have a way of destroying things.
