I am too young to move out of my home! I have 5 siblings and my father and mother both are not being fair to us!
4 days ago my father--in order to save on the bills--shut off the hot water in the house! We have been washing in cold water because he will not let anyone heat any water! The more we complain the worse it is for us! Now--because we keep complaining--my mother has already taken 2 of my brothers outside and poured ice water over their heads and she says I am next!
Help!

will is your father the only one working ?if he is and you are not to young to work get a job and help because your father need help is your mother working ? if not working she need to get a job and help and stop abuse her children she need to think before she act because some one is watching

It must be hard on your parents with 6 children in the house to pay all of the bills! Perhaps when your father gets caught up he will turn the hot water on again!
Until then stop complaining and get used to the cold showers!
Also get used to screaming a lot as the ice water is flowing over your head! It is not easy to do but remember there are children in the Ukraine who not only take cold showers everyday but have to go out in the snow at school in their bathing suits and have their teacher pour ice water over their heads! These Children have to endure this everyday!

I think everyones over reacting here...We are only hearing one side of the story...Your mum and dad may be under a lot of stress, haven't you ever considered that?...they may have shut off the hot water because they purely can't afford to pay their bills..fair enough the cold water showers aren't a good thing, but it's not as though it's going to hurt you... bringing up 6 kids is going to be hard alone, then the added stress of financial difficulties and all of you whining is bound to take it's toll...I'm sure they love you all at the end of the day..just try and talk to them when things are settled...and if u see the ice just run! lol

You could always run away from home!
In the meantime though, suck it up and stop complaining!
A cold shower will do you no real harm and having ice water poured over your head will be a shock to your system but you will easily forget the feeling in less than 1 hour!

Hi honey, this is something that you cannot handle alone, call a policeman and tell them hat this is happening. Maybe they can find a better family to give you a good home. wow! ABuse. .. Is there any other family member you can talk to?aunts, uncles? (They shut off the hot water, but do they allow you to use the computer?)
Tell someone like a counselor, but then your parent will have to deal with the consequences of their negative actions. I am sorry that you have to go through that.

try helping the family out. If you're old enough to work, get a part time job. Ask your other older siblings to get a job too, so maybe then there won't be anymore complaints.
