If you had to choose between a formal dining room and your washer and dryer in the garage or a nice laundry room and no dining room which would it be???? both floorplans have an eat-in kitchen.

After 18 years of eating in the kitchen and looking at the dining room, and after the same 18 years of climbing over car bumpers, cat litter box, bikes, soccer balls, etc to get to the washer in the garage, I would take the laundry room, no doubt about it. Especially when something I just washed gets dropped in the cat box. Good luck!

I'd chose the laundry room. I've lived in many houses and some had laundry rooms and some didn't. Some had dining rooms and some didn't. Now my home has a dining room and a laundry closet which drives me nuts! I guess it depends on how practical you are. If you like to give dinner parties then, of course,you want the dining room. If you have a big family and are doing alot of laundry, then go for the laundry room. Good luck! It's a tough decision.

It would definitely be the formal dining room and washer and dryer in the garage. Especially if you have a family. But if your single, then the other option would be best because you could eat on the couch, or in the bedroom or have a small table. Or you could knock a wall out and redecorate.

Formal dining room with the washer and dryer in the garage, unless you just really like doing wash and spend all day out there.

Dining Room hands down. Think resale value. Laundry can go in upstairs closet as a stackable near the bedrooms where 90% of the laundry is generated.

I think a laundry room would be more practical... I mean who honestly uses their dining room often?? Not too many people. Mostly they are there for show... @ least that's my opinion. I would much rather have a nice room to do my laundry in versus going to the garage to do it.

depends on how much use you would get from a formal dining room. my dining room is not used much for actual eating, so i would go for the laundry room. if you entertain alot, go for the dining room and laundry in the garage.

a dining room bcause thats where a family sits down together and talks everynight while they eat and i think that is a great way 2 communicate with your family and share thoughts after a long day and you could put your washer and dryer in a closet whats more important a loving family or a set of clean clothes anyway if yu couldnt aford a washin machine juss do it yurself u got 2 hands use em why did god givem to u to let em sit by your side all day its called work so think your questoin over then maybe u will think that u shouldnt even of asked it
