once they start eating solid food they will start in box. remember to use a low lipped box with a small amount of litter to train the kittens, too high of an edge and they can't get over easily, and too much litter and they can't move it around to cover their waste, they sort of bog down in it . good luck!

You can let your little one use the litter box as soon as it can walk. Try using Yesterdays News for kitty litter.

i don't think of age concerns. I were given my kitten at the same time as became only a minimum of a month previous and that i %. him up and placed him contained in the muddle container the moved his paw round in it. After that he continually used it. i recognize, extraordinary proper? Lol, I heard to attempt this on line and distinctly it worked. he's not in any respect pooped or peed everywhere except in his muddle container ever when you consider that.

My boy, "Baby" started at 4 weeks - as soon as he could get out of his 'bed' box on his own, he ran for the big kitties' box. He had to jump, and hang onto the edge and scramble in, but he went there, and has never missed since.

believe it or not, my 2 week-old kitty learned how to potty in his litterbox after 3 days of training. He's about 3 months now and funny coz he's OC about his potty. We got him 2 boxes and he uses 1 for peeing and the other for pooping. He's really smart. :)

Depends on the individual cat. All the ones I had just instinctually knew what it was for, and used it from the time they could wobble over to it on their little legs. :^)
