Chinese restaurant ....get steamed veggies...they usually make them perfect....cooked and still have a snap to them. Try steamed chicken and find your self a low sodium dipping sauce. Truly there isnt much you can order out that is low salt. You will really have to cook most of your own stuff to have control over salt intake.

Don't get fast food or chinese - find a local place that will cook to order with low salt.

Above post said fresh fruits. Grapefruits, apples, pears etc. The skin keeps them from going bad. But it does not have to be fresh fruit. Dry fruits like raisons (nature's candy), dried pineapple and dried figs. Then there are the vegetables like cut celery, carrots, cole slaw etc.

Bugger all cos they all contain heaps of monosodium glutamate, thats why they taste soooo damn good and its basically a form of salt
