I have really really thick wavy/curly little past shoulder length hair and I can't think if anything to do with it. I am 13 and I don't feel pretty like the other girls and always just wear my hair in a ugly pony tail. Tips and trends please. What to do???????????

well, make sure you have layers in your cut so it isn't weighed down. Use a styling product for curly hair - I use Frizzeaze Mouse - then scrunch it while it's drying - if you use a blow-dryer keep it on low blow - high heat. I have found that the key to this kind of hair is to NOT let it air-dry otherwise mine just does stupid things. Another think you can try is a straightening styling product - Frizzeaze has a straightening spray that is really good - then brush it straight while you dry it. It should make it real smooth. It might take a while for you to figure out what will work for you, but play with it till you find something you like.
Good luck, sweetie. Have fun playing.

i have the same exact kind of hair. first off, there is noting wrong with a ponytail, but you need to no how to dress one up. here is how i handle my hair:

1.) Get Suave Healthy Curls shampoo and conditioner from walmart, CVS, or any of those stores.

2.) Also purchase Garnier Fructis Leave-In Conditioning Cream for frizzy, dry, or unmanageable hair.

3.) Use the shampoo and conditioner in the shower

4.) after you get out of the shower, slightly dry ur hair with a towel, and then apply the leave-in conditioner

5.) then let you hair air dry, DO NOT BLOW DRY!

6.) then, after hair is dry, wear down, or in a curly ponytail!

****also consider getting layers in your hair (if you have curly hair, when it is dry, it can have a triangular shape to it, layers will even it out****

GOOD LUCK!

After you get out of the shower and your hair is still a little damp, put some gloss or gel in it, brush to untangle it, and air dry, you'll have nice curly or waves, all day long, and remember less is more to go easy on the styling products.

I'd suggest that u add conditioner with ur second shampooing and comb it out properly then rinse and condition again.Afterwards u blow dry and comb out at the same time then straighten. It worked for a friend of mine I'm not sure if it'll work 4 u but its worth a try/
