No single remedy but here are some tips that you can combine to get good results

1. use mild smelling deodorants
2. use shirts only once
3. don't mix your shirts with other clothes in your laundry bin
4. upon removing hanger them first (airing) before washing
5. Rinse them first before putting soap and fabric softner.
6. Try to put a wide time interval before using the same shirt

This however is a must: Do not machine dry your shirts. Sun dry them,
if this is not possible then just air dry them - 100% dry before ironing,
medium temperature on the underarm section. Do not use starch spray
on this area.

Maybe you should change detergent. Also, turn the shirt inside out. Are you using the correct amount of detergent? There used to be a laundry detergent, I can not remember the name, that claimed to tackle heavy stains and sweat. I would make sure you are using the proper amount and try a different brand of detergent.

I am an auto technician and my mom is a vegetarian,I as an auto technician can only tell you that the best approach is to treat the source of the problem and I asked my mom and she recommended that you watch your intake of sugars and the foods that you eat regularly on a daily basis, scents given off by the body are ways to tell you that there is too much of something in your system, perspiration or sweat as we call it has a content of uric acids in it and the more of sugars that we consumes raises the level of scent in our bodies which puts a strain on our kidneys and skin to get rid of it , so if you are to truly address the problem start with yourself you may even feel better,my mom recommends you try to drink a gallon of distilled water a day with five limes each for a week and stay away from soda pops and other sweets that can keep the level of uric acids in your blood, distilled water with lemons purify the blood and helps the kidneys process the impurities in our bodies,it worked for me ,good luck.

I don't think there's an easy way to get rid of sweat smells once they're there, you'll have to cut it off at the source, try a different anti-perspirant. I have excess sweating from my armpits, no anti-perspirant will work for me so my Doctor prescribed something to stop the sweat, I hardly have to use it now and it really helped alot.

Try soaking the underarm area in rubbing alcohol then washing. if that doesn't help, then do the same with white vinegar. One or the other will do it...depends on your body chemisty.
