The Bride is supposed to pay for all the flowers as well as a gift for them, unless you are paying for the wedding with your Groom then split everything right down the middle. If you are paying for flowers, then his resposibility is to pay for all refreshment's, and a gift for his groomsmen, the food should be split if you want to be fair. Try to not go overboard with the bouquet's, as they really don't last and are usually pricey....how about a basket filled with flowers (maybe silk) that can be kept after the Wedding as a rememberence. The bridesmaids pay for the gown and shoes and the groomsmen pays for their tuxedo rental. THe bridal shower is given by the bridal party if they choose to give one. The rest is the reponsiblity of the bride and groom or their families.

The bride and groom - or whoever is paying for the wedding!!!!!!!! Your bridesmaids and ushers are people you ASK to be in your wedding - they pay for their attire, shoes, makeup, hair, etc.....they certainly don't pay for their own bouquets!

I agree.....you own the responsibility for the flowers. If budget is a problem go with seomthing very simple. My best friend paid over 50 bucks for my bouquet....it was a total waste!
