They get blasted with Bible or Quaran quotes???? If I was of that faith I wouldn't have asked that question. Just a thought guys, some of us don't believe that we need to have our souls saved.

What people like that don't realize is they just push people farther away by doing that, It has never made me waiver in beliefs one bit. if anything is confirms that I am on the right path for me.

when you ask for opinion from the same people why do they spout the bible, that's not what I wanted. I wanted YOUR opinion. not the bibles. If I want the bibles position I will read it.
I agree! Don't pray for me that I will see the light. I already have If you think Im going to Hell, thats OK your intitled. But I dont believe in hell or the Devil so thats irrelivant to me. and it doesnt scare me either because I dont believe in it.

What if you are wrong? What if God, Jesus, the prophets, the Jews, and Christians are right and you are wrong? If there is no afterlife, no Judgment Day, no heaven, and no hell, then God is unjust and each of the above is guilty of being a false witness. It means that Almighty God couldn’t care less about the fact that a man rapes a woman, then cuts her throat and is never brought to justice. If you are right, and there is no ultimate justice, you won’t even have the joy of saying, "I told you so." However, if you are wrong, you will lose your soul and end up eternally damned. You are playing Russian roulette with a fully loaded gun.
They are trying to save the lost. It's what we are asked to do.

we feel the bible is our best source for all things because it is the word and teachings of the almighty god. if you see someone ask something outside of your faith it is the inclination to use your teachings to guide the person that you feel is misguided so they may embrace your faith. i am happy for everyone but of course would be happier if more people converted or came back to the catholic church as i believe it to hold the truth. so when talking with others it is natural for me to draw upon my teachings and understandings as opposed to theirs because in some cases i may not full understand or believe what they are asking or answering.

Because when people of other faiths are asking someone something about what his/her particular faith teaches or believes in, what better place than use the Scripture of that particular faith to explain something?

No offense, but its a bit foolish to go into the religious section to ask a question, then get upset because people give religious answers. A little common sense goes a long way, you should try it.

This is a religion section. When people ask about God, I will answer from the bible. No one has to believe what I say.
Those who don't believe their souls need saving need alot of prayer, and I pray that God has mercy on you, in Jesus' name.

I'm not sure what you mean. I believe people answer you and then use the Bible or Koran to back up their answers. Maybe I'm wrong, but I LIKE to know where people are getting their answers.

God loves you. Since I don't know what your faith is, I can only answer by saying that maybe you are mentioning their faith and they thought you might be of their faith but only to find out, it was actually a trick question. Maybe that is why.
