I'm a medic in Iraq looking for a more personal way to meet women than online dating. I get to go home on leave for two weeks but its going to be hard to meet a girl and try to convince her to wait another 6 months till I come home for good. 19 and haven't started college yet any ideas?

My boyfriend is in the Marines and I met him because I happened to be going to college where he was stationed. We considered each other best friends before we even started dating. He was hesitant to ask because of the whole long distance thing. But I was willing to wait forever. ;) If you are willing to wait, you will meet the right girl, know she's the one for you, and not worry about her waiting or not. Don't jump into things. You have time. :) You have a big job right now, you'll find her when it's the right time. Make sure she is into the whole military thing too, because if she is constanly whinning at you about your job, you already have enough things to worry about, so you don't need her giving you extra added grief! ;) Good luck buddy, and thanks for serving! :)

Probably not to wise to be letting everyone know what you do 4 a livin over the internet soldier, especially while you are deployed. Be careful.

I am a woman and I would not wait 6 months for a man that I have only met during two weeks.......

You are 19?
Learn skills from the guys that you work with, and stay alive in Iraq! After that.......... hunting season can begin.......
