I met this great lady about a month ago. Earlier we were discussing moving in together. We were debating how long would be a good time to get to know one another before we make the big move. I thought 6 months would be a good wait, while we get to know one another. How long should we wait before moving in together?

I think the sooner the better! What better way to get to know someone and if you can be compatible?

What constitutes a "great woman"? What does she do for a living?
Does she have any children from another? Six months are not long enough to know anyone that well. How often have you dated and why would you consider having her "move in" since you know that you can always sleep together at her place? Unless you are ready to marry her she should never move in with you or, chances are, she will never move out if the relationship doesn't work out. Don't be too eager to play house with a casual sexual relationship. What about birth control? I think that you should listen to Tom Lycus on 97.1 FM and be schooled on the manly arts.
Women tend to have many skeletons in their closets nowadays so BEWARE. I highly advise that you examine the situation more closely since golddigers are afoot.
Mr. M on "should she move in."

Depends.
If you're a hedonist, do it tomorrow, no,. . . .tonight!
If you have some morals, then wait at least 6 months.
If you're a Christian, ( and many other religions) you can't do it with a clean conscience.

Everyone gets some degree of hurt at times, but while hedonists don't care, they cause the most damage.

She should move in as soon as you are able to go #2 with her in the room, and you both laugh about it.

Long enough to get to know her alittle. Four weeks isn't enough time.
