Get ready for the "free will" arguments, cause that's all they have. My question for them is, If God gave us all free will, then what about "We are all part of God's plan"...can't have it both ways. But, as always, their answers will be convenient and easy to mold depending on what the challenge to them is. Ridiculous....how come Christians thought that the cult who wore all the same tennis shoes and killed themselves so that they could all catch the comet together were nuts, but then they go to church every Sunday and re-tell fables that are physically impossible? They laugh at Native Americans for believing in rain-gods and stuff but they think that a big bearded guy in sandals makes all the decisions in the world. Retards.

People have many different beliefs about God and who/what was our Creator. You seem to be asking why didn't the Creator create you so that you could enjoy drinking beer, etc. Well, I don't think God created us only to have pleasure every minute. I think He wanted us to work and play. Sometimes it's difficult to figure out why we were created in the first place, huh? I think God created people and creatures in many different forms because 1.) He was all powerful and knowledgeable, and 2.) He created people in His image. And animals are not really His image, but maybe he had fun in creating them. I am fascinated by the many kinds of cute (and not so cute) animals.

He didn't plan it down to the finest detail. Evolution brought about the Platypus, so it must have some purpose.

If you used the brain that God gave you, you would discover that smoking and drinking are terrible for you, and you can always take typing classes.

The platypus is one of the only mammals that lays an egg. Everything was not designed around you, you are designed around everything around you, it's what we call evolution.

If there was a creator then I would want to know why he chose to make so much of life dependent on eating other creatures alive. Seems rather sick, to me...
