Well it's not a secret to everyone just my family. I am dating someone who they would hate. Guess why?? It's because he's black. He is one of the sweetest people I know. They would like him if I weren't dating him. Last night I went to my high school footnball game he's in the band and I was sitting next to him. My mom made a comment to me today about it she said you know that black boy like you. . . she knows that we were talking and that we went out but she doesn't know that I didn't break up with him like I was supposed to. . . that was one thing I couldn't do I love him and that is one thing my mom would never understand. I am happy with him and she would say that because he is black he will cheat on me or as soon as he sees something better he will leave me. That is something he would never do I know he has been through this before. . .What should I do??? and another thing is that my cousin is a teacher at the school I go to. . .

You are Right your secret will come out, this is a tuff situation. If your feelings are strong for this guy and his for you I say ride it out with him. Not only do black guys chest and move on by white guys do the same thing. You need to be happy it is your life and I say your decision whether to stay with him or not to stay with him.Look into your heart and find the answer that's best for you. Well I would be 100% honest with your mom but wait and see how it turns out for the both of you first, if you both really love each other than it's worth the fight with your mom and she'll eventually get over it with time!!!

oh i wish i had easy fix here but its a hard fix . you must be sure before you do this that you both love each other here and while im writeing this i dont belieave in mixing but we are all same and love is love but parents are very protective and this sends up red flag to them but if you both are serious then you gotta stand strong and stop hideing out here . just tell your parents and dont blow up when they start critasizeing this just tell them you cant lie anymore aqnd you love them enough that you want them envolved in this . his family will be just as messy to him but in different way . i dont know your age but if your very young belieave me later you might feel different so give this thing a good span of time before you go to next level but love is rare so good luck
