I have a dilemma, my best friend, a guy, is dating one of my girl friends. I have a have issues though, they both really seem to like each other, although they say neither of them wants a relationship. My guy friend even confided in me that they are having sex. I'm bothered because I fear that we won't be as close as we used to be, as of now he spends his meals, and nights with her, which he used to spend with me. And I know how the girl is with men, she has a past of using men which I do not want to happen with my best bud. But hes so happy in a way that I can't make him. He tries to make time for me, even took me out to dinner like old times last nite. I do not want to date him, but I miss the constant companionship. My question is how to make sense of what I'm feeling.

I used to spend all my free time with him, I think I'm starting to feel like it was a mistake making him the biggest part of my life, and now he doesn't need my company so I feel kinda lonely.

Well this is a little tough. He doesn't mean to be rude to you...it's obvious. Make some plans just for the two of you. Cause he might not find time...but you can and as you being a good friend try to make time for him. Tell him that you miss his companionship and would like to see him more often.

Do you like him, romantically? You need to figure that out first. If you do, your dilemma becomes "should I tell him?" If you are sure that you don't like him romantically, then I think time will help you out w/ the situation. You are probably not adjusted to the situation at the moment. Start spending time w/ your other friends. You will be ok. Who knows... maybe you will find a b/f yourself!

write ur feelings in a journal, and try telling him in a letter ur feelings...it might help. Also talk to ur girl friend and ask her so what do u think...do u really like him or r do u just like the fact that hes there. And about the sex, tell them to wear a condomn because u telling them to stop isn't gonna make them stop. Good Luck!

You need to accept they are a couple and find a BF or another friend to hang with. They have a very possessive relationship if they are together day and night. Stay away from it. He shouldn't be ditching his friends because he has a GF

It sounds like deep down you do want to date him, and that's not a bad thing - but if does complicate matters more. I wouldn't say anything to either of them because until they see the problems for themselves, they will simply be angry at you. Wait and see what happens, and support both of them however it may end.

i know that must really suck but sometimes you have to let go. with a girlfriend it takes commitment and he needs to commit to her in order to have a strong relationship. he will still have time for you but just not as much. and you mentioned that she is a player, you can either keep it to yourself or let him know but if you let him know you risk hurting the friendship. he might see it as you being jealous.
