In my opinion it all comes down to this. God created everything....no chance about it. Next he gave us free will and this is where the chance comes in. We are free to make choices good or bad and it's a chance that we take every time we make a decision, unless we know God and want to abide by his Commandments. The chance only lies with us as man and not with God for he is forever and constant.

Yeah, chance! No, your air conditioner won't evolve into a pig because it's inanimate. Are you sure this is a serious question? Dogs bark because of the way their vocal cords are formed. Cats meow for the same reason. This is the way they evolved to further their species style of communication. I'm guessing that the animals with different sounds died because they couldn't communicate effectively, and as a result, the only ones to propagate the species barked or meowed. After all, we've had millions of years to perfect this!

Here's a point of view that does'nt conflict with anyone's beliefs.
Gotta be a little open minded.
Things may have come to be the way they are because God created all the conditions which allow for the diversity in nature you talk about & then just let things happen.
The non-believers position holds water also ,whether or not God had a hand in it, since the"infinite" number of possibilities that exist makes it highly probable that life in whatever form could arise by random chance.
Some air conditioners are "pigs"

If you hadn't pointed that out, I wouldn't have realised it was a serious question...
Now, seriously, I don't see why you'd believe that all unbelievers have a degree in science. I don't know about chances of anything. But I do know that something inanimate cannot turn into an animal.
If you really ARE serious, things aren't by chance. Evolution follows a logic. Actually evolution is more logical than creation. AND though there is a close connection between evolution and non-believing people, and between creation and believers, they aren't the same.

What if you take a box full of random computer parts, and you add some molten solder in it, then shake the box around? What are the chances that when you pull it out, it will be a complete, working computer?
Extremely low. That's because things that are complex and things that have organization are carefully designed and created by something with high intelligence.
I don't think most non-believers think of things this way, but it makes perfect sense. Christianity and science can coincide, and they do, for anyone who will take the time to do the proper research.

I am a non-believer and my point of view is not that everything happens because of chance, but rather because of chain reactions and cause and effect. No non-believer thinks that an air conditioner is going to morph into something alive, that would be ignorant. Your question shows that you are either baiting non-believers or you seriously don't understand the thought process that makes one a non-believer. Feel free to email me if you have any other questions.

Would you say that you have courage, intellectual integrity, and confidence in your beliefs? If so, then take a few hours to read Almost Like a Whale, by Steve Jones. I think you'll find that it explains fairly well the role of chance in the origins of living organisms. You might also like to read Climbing Mount Improbable by Richard Dawkins. These books will help you to understand why biologists know that evolution is the truth.

Evolution has a random component - mutation and variation - and a non-random component, selection.
Surely you've heard of natural selection? It is NOT random - that's why it's called "selection".
I can understand finding evolution difficult to believe if you thought it was driven by chance alone. But it isn't. To be in a position to criticize evolution, you MUST understand that first.

No chance at all , Common sense tells a person that for every thing created there has to be a creator ,But some people have no common sense and funny thing about them is, they admit it , wonder how many really believe a magician can really pull a rabbit out of thin air

Evolution is voodoo science, with absolutely NO proof.
Evolutionists believe by faith because there is no proof, and that makes evolution their religion.
And that means, Darwin has made a monkey out of all the evolutionists.
And I do know what science is, and I do know that life can't evolve from non-life. That is a proven fact because science has not been able to do it.
A theory is a guess, and in science, when a theory is proven true, it is called a Law. Science still calls evolution a theory.
