A person can be too religious to the point of not enjoying life. A too religious person is very hard to communicate with because sometimes they speak in parables and treat other people rudely(sometimes) I was brought up to believe you must enjoy life the best way you can, and besides, following God is about relationship not religion.

Look at the middle east. There are a lot of people who believe that killing American troops will make Allah (God) happy. But if you wern't talking about the muslim extremists listen to this. Christians can get too religious also. Countless people think that thier denomination are the only ones going to heaven which makes me sick.

If religion doesn't let you be happy, or it turns you into a social misfit, I guess that's too much religion.
Now, *I* can't be too religious. I can't be religious at all.

If you religiously wash your hands.. you may be washing them too often .. and therefore overly religious. Good Luck! :)

Yes. Its called being an extremist. Killing in the name of your God is a little on the extreme, so is brainwashing your children and hiding the truth from those who seek it.

Being religous and having faith are two different things. If you follow the doctrines of the churches and not so much the Bible that is being religious and unfortuantely today its TOO common.
Having faith and following the Bible is not being religous but being a true Christian. Man is not perfect and we set rules in our churches that are not biblically sound.

Our president & the middle east culture are proving just that.
And they're killing other people - I hope I never have to meet
their god.

I think so. Fanaticism is overdoing it. And you have to leave some room to live your life and attend to practical matters.
