Ah, but the corporate powers that be love the benefits they get from employing illegal immigrants, even as said immigrants destroy our schools, social welfare systems, plague our cities with crime and generally make life miserable for all except those who profit from their ability to accept poor working conditions and low pay.

The best thing to do would be to round up and deport all illegals, but only after making it a felony to employ them, whether 'knowingly' or not.

No, this not fair a all. I do know some fellows that have felonies on their record and they try to look for work. But as soon as the employer finds out the have a felony, they either fire them or just don't give them the job. I truly feel that this is so unfair. Then the government wonders why people keep going back to prisons or jails, well that is because they don't give them a chance to redeem themselves. Most have already paid their dues, but that doesn't matter to them. And here the illegal immigrants can work anywhere......Not fair at all. This is an injustice to all Americans that have committed a crime and now they cannot re-establish their livelihood.
***To other worldtrader- you are so mistaken, the blacks are the ones that cannot get a job because of crimes they have committed, but yet have paid their due. They have 2 strikes against them- being black and having a criminal record. So don't speak of anything that you know nothing about.*******Are you black? No, of course not.

Agreed. It is a felony to knowingly cross our national border without permission. Doing so makes you a felon.

To make matters worse, we have no idea how many illegal aliens are fleeing Mexican law, or have violated American law and are returning.

ICE agents have reported deporting the SAME PEOPLE multiple times.

If an illegal immigrant breaks into your home (he was working for a landscaping company you hired to trim your hedges), kills your wife and children and then flees to Mexico, how is our law enforcement going to find him? Can he return with another identity? Sure he can! He might even be trimming your hedges again next week!

It's not a question they want to hear nor do they have the courage to answer it honestly, but it's obvious isn't it. In order to work illegally in this country you would have to either work off the books thus paying no taxes and committing tax evasion,or you would have to provide false documentation thus committing document fraud. Both are indeed felonies, but I guess committing felonies at will is OK if you're from another country.

I have read that it is a misdemeanor, not a felony. Wouldn't evading Federal Border Patrol be considered the first felony they committed? Then when they forged their first fake ID, wouldn't that be another felony? Then when they got their jobs by lying on the application, wouldn't that be their next felony? Howmany times can a person commit felonious crimes and get away with it? Sorry to use your question to pose more questions, but.....???

on condition which you're a Border Patrolman and shoot a drug broker. The Democrat Congress is seeking a thank you to overturn the Presidents govt Order that demands employers to ensure the Social protection numbers of workers via employing "E-make certain" It purely takes a jiffy to do and tells employers and regulation enforcement if the concern is likewise employing a stolen identity. I haven't any concept why the Democrats are by contrast. Do you. For: Slob: i understand. i became being facetious. i'm a retired Police Officer from the Ca.Az. Mexico Border. many cases i might turn over an unlawful to the Border Patrol early in my shift and earlier my shift became over i could be turning a similar unlawful lower back over to them. they might technique them and return them to Mexico and interior of a few hours they could be lower back.

Why not make hiring these people a felon. They are doing it out of greed and they should be the ones to pay with prison time, not some poor schmo that wants to feed his family. I bet if the jobs disappear the illegals will too.

Spare me the line about it being part of business to hire illegals. Drug dealing is a business too.

Good point. All I can do is agree with your statement .

Guest worker program would be the worst thing to do, it is like giving bank robbers the oppertunity to deposit the money the stole in the bank of their choice for a extra 2% intrest, just to help keep the money in the U.S. and keep it from getting transfered to a Swedish bank account.

No it is not right.
At work we have people who work for contractors or temp services who can not hired as company employees due to felonies. But many of them work right beside company employees for years.
The company also makes exceptions to blacks as far as felonies are concerned, and will hire them or allow them to remain while whites would be fired for the same offense.
