you mean, is it IMproper.
I dont think so. If guys can do it, why not women? no difference.

Both are rude and in bad taste. Something that has been left behind as being old fashioned and not progressive. I've yet to see anything progressive that hasn't included perversion and self degradation. No one is shocked anymore over vulgar language, blowing noses on the sidewalk, spitting, adjusting ones private parts and a slew of other actions in public.

There's no excuse for either one. If something is bothering you, there is always a restroom nearby where you can pop in and do whatever needs doing. Or some quiet spot away from public eyes. Besides, why spoil the mystique? Everyone thinks we are built that way, and there's no reason to show them that it's just plastic and wire that makes us look so yummy....

Don't you hate how guys can get away with tons of things girls can't? I think it's still not polite to fix your bra in public, but if you're discreet about it I don't think anyone will have a problem. I wouldn't do it while meeting the President for dinner, but while walking accross the park at lunch I'll step off to the side and do what I need.

I truly ought to admit that i'm a fence straddler in this. Modesty says that no, it isn't ideal etiquette. fairness and how am i able to be so small minded says definite, there is not any longer some thing incorrect with it. common, i imagine that that's ok. that's some thing that society as an complete has to detect innovations on the thanks to manage and settle for. that's a organic procedure. what's next, no longer having the ability to modify toddler diapers in public?

I think it is really rude. I have a friend who does that just so a man will notice her. To me she looks very trashy. Guys adjust themselves in public because it bothers them. I do think it is rude though. It may bother a girl if her bra is messed up but she needs to go to the bathroom to fix it and so does a guy.

Just do it at a time when nobody's looking. If you're talking to someone else, making a presentation of some sort, being the center of attention, etc., wait until "the coast is clear." If anyone is uncomfortable with what you are doing, he/she will look away. If you are uncomfortable, by all means, do what you have to do.

It is improper for both women AND men to adjust themselves in public. If you feel a need to do some adjusting, find a bathroom or a change room where you can do it discretely.

Men who do that have no class! A woman should be a lady & go to the restroom or somewhere nobody's watching & do the adjustment there. I think it would be very rude.

No it's not rude..In summer time you can see a lot of brassier and breast openly.Mother who like to feed her child (breast feeding) can use any place,no one can restrict her,Other wise it's a child abuse and she will be questioned why her child remains hungry.See the recent incident happen at Toy's-R-US in New York,a floor manager denies her for breast feeding her child and next day he beg for the apology and now facing consequence in court.

Does she put her hand down the front of her shirt to put her boob in place? Or does she adjust her bra strap? Its kind of the difference of the guy grabbing the front of his pants vs. sticking his hand down the front of his pants to readjust.
