sure, I got a shedload of scammers' emails or others kept calling 2 lure me 2 pay them instead to advertise my car (ie snatch business from autotrader.co.uk who I'd paid good £cash for ad).
But frustratingly no serious response for 2 mths. My ad showed all major details: FSH, MOT'd, VW & Audi parts, immobiliser, auto front windows, diesel fuelled, clean, VGC etc etc. And I placed ads in the car windows too. But it's bn sooo QUIET.

Aargh, pls help...what am I not doing that I should?

Probably because someone looking to buy a small family car won't auomatically think "Seat Cordoba" as a choice.

Moreso, nowadays, small saloon cars are rather unpopular, with people in this sector of the market prefering hatchbacks, and the Cordoba was really just an Ibiza with a boot. Oh, and the rather dumpy styling probably hasin't helped either.

Generally, small saloons are good value as second-hand buys due to extra depreciation, but selling is always difficult unles you price it accordingly or trade it in at a dealer.

You obviously want too much money for a car that was never very popular in the first place. Have you double-checked what the car is actually worth against a trade guide such as Cap Black Book? Try Parkers (link below) and see what the car is actually worth against what you have it up for sale at.

I frequently see cars advertised at crazy prices for no other reason than the owner thinks that what they are worth, and in reality, they are worth nowhere near what is being asked for them. There are currently more used cars than buyers for them, and as such, prices are depressed on nearly everything.

.......Simple.... you are asking too much money for it. Anything will sell at the right price in a short time. Lower the price and you will sell it. Problem is at the moment, credit is so easy to get, people are not really interested in second hand cars and would rather buy brand new. Lower the price and get shot of it.

I had my Fiat Pumto on their and 1 year later its still at home. Now my brother drives it and I just buy a brand new car!

Part ex your car to a dealer or a company and let them take it off you and you will in exchange have a brand new car!!
