Husband just started over tht road trucking. We have only been married for just over a year and we have a 6 month old child. I miss him so much. He just started so we will have enogh money to move. Where we live now there is no job for him. It is hard for me to have to learn to do everything that includes the house, bills, baby, vehicles. It is very stressfull. We plan on him doing this til February but was wondering if there were any other truckers wives that had some good ideas. We have cell phones but I work full time so it is hard to talk too much to him. Thanks

It's certainly not a family-friendly job, is it? I recommend "work" as your therapy... spend your time industriously, doing all the chores and housework, etc. Then when he is home, you can both really enjoy time together instead of having to work around the house. If you don't have enough work to occupy your time (and I find that hard to believe with a six month old child), start a hobby or in-home business. The key is to keep your mind off your loss of time with your husband and refocus on other activities. Let's face it... your time is NOT well-spent worrying about him and dwelling on him being gone. Focus on spending your time well... and then when he's home, make it some truly special family time. Good luck.

My hubby is going through the training part & he's going to be gone for 2 months. We have a 2 year old. I do miss him, but I also am having a blast being goofy with my son & having the whole bed to myself! Try to enjoy yourself by catching up on stuff you wouldn't normally do when he's home. I have been watching a lot of Lifetime & putting my pj's on at like 6:00 in the evening. And just think of the awesome sex you'll have when he gets back each time! Lots of luck to ya though!
