i approached my ex a couple of weeks ago that we should get back together. He said he would think about it. Thursday I met this really great guy, we didnt exchange numbers but according to my friend he might be interested. How ironic that yesterday (friday), my ex says....ok lets get back together! what should I do??? get back together or see if something happens with this new guy??

I think you should try things with this new guy! What do you have to lose? You already know how your ex is, so why take the risks again? Move on, and experience someone new! It will be a great change from you and hopefully will help you move on from your ex. There must have been a good reason as to why you two broke up in the first place, don't you think that it could happen again? In my opinion try something new, its like going out to eat at the same place all the time and ordering the same thing, go somewhere new try something you haven't tried before don't settle for the same-ol'-same-ol'! Hope everything works out good for you though!

Without knowing the details of your relationship with your ex, I say move on. Most people go back out of convenience and comfort. It is easier that the unknown. Try asking that guy out instead of waiting around for him. Be adventurous! I know it may be a little scary but life is short and there is no guarantee that things with your ex will be any different.

I didn't read the other answers but here's what I think:
You go on about your life, and revel in the idea that you could have either of them. Then, see who nails down a date first. Then, go on the date. Then, go on another date with whomever asks first. I hate to sound cavalier but, your ex is an ex for a reason. And, since he snoozed, he loozed. Take your time and have fun in the meantime.

Did yall have something good? Was he a very good boifriend who will last? Is the guy you met and you going to last if yall do get together? Look at both sides then pick which guy you should date :)
