try Nazaleze (spray) or Sinna by A.Vogel (spray or capsule), salt water nasal wash... there are a just few of the many out there! Try something from a health store - all the aid without the terrible side-effects!

The Pill Book Guide to Natural Medicine (Murray) recommends Sinupret and Esberitox. I always found that a teaspoonful of tobasco sauce opened up my sinuses like no medicine ever could! Afrin nasal spray used as directed is helpful. Take a lot of Vitamin C (1-3 grams a day) and, unless you are pregnant or at risk of getting pregnant, 10-25,000 units of Vitamin A a day.
Good luck!

You can still take sudafed. You just have to sign for it at the pharmacy. No big deal.

Try just taking Mucinex. It is an expectorant for when you have too much mucus up in your sinuses, or if you have an unproductive cough. My doc recommended it when I didn't want to take sudafed. Miraculously, it works, but you have to drink tons of water with it..

Aleve (naproxen sodium) helps with inflammation and pain from sinus problems, but there is always good old tylenol.

I haven't had any problems with the drugs that are modified so you can't make meth out of them. So I would try them (if they are avail, perhaps they are not in your area) and see how they work for you.

Try asking the pharmacist if they aren't too busy, they might have some suggestions for you.

i have this really weird suggestion for sinus medication.
dissolve some salt in some water and then put a little of that salt water into your hand, in a cup-like shape. Then sniff it up your nose. It feels horrible, and goes down your throat, but IT REALLY WORKS. i just started to use it. it works wonders.

just try it.

oh, and if your throat is sore, then you should gargle saltwater.
