If you're 14, you really need to ask the question to a physician. We can't guess where you are with your growth cycle. We don't know how tall you are. You could be right where you need to be.

Make it a point to do the following every day:

1) spend half as much time in front of your computer
2) walk at least 1/2 mile
3) eat smaller portions fewer times every day.
4) stop eating out.
5) stick to it like your life depends on it (because it does)

You will find that you won't lose much weight in the short term (days/weeks) but you will become healthier and you will lose weight over the long term (month/years).

At some point you will hit a limit where you won't lose anymore weight, however, you will be trim and healthy at the time.

No go get a move on - you have weight to lose!

How tall are you?

If you believe you really do have a weight problem, try this:

Don't eat seconds. Do eat smaller portions.
Don't eat junk food. Do eat fresh fruits and vegetables for snacks.
Do exercise. Don't forget to warm up and do a few stretches: That will spare you a lot of pains.
Do drink lots of water: That will fill up the space where food normally would go so you don't feel hungry.

Good luck!

i had this same problem when i was younger. here is what i did i exercised more(bought a trampoline) and i way cut down on my sugar intake and stopped drinking cool-aid and pop and laid off the sugar. such as cookies, candy chocolate, ice cream, floats(pop on ice cream) and i started eating healthier. when i wanted something sweet i just ate o piece of fruit, it really cured my cravings. i also stopped watching TV in my spare time. instead i read a book or went and jumped. it was hard but it worked.

hope this helps and good luck i hope this will work for you.
