It's hard to find out the actual question. I think he likes you, and what's wrong with gossip? Everyone gossips, don't think so much about what people say. Don't you gossip too? Talk is fun, and everyone likes to talk about who likes you. If you do go out with him, why would you want to keep it a secret? I don't see what your problem is.

Well ive got this same problem wit a girl. You gotta take MATTERS INTO YOUR OWN HANDS. Talk to him and become friendly wit him. Dont give a **** of what everyones telling you. Just become really friendly wit him and wait till he asks you out or you can ask him out too.
