And she said she understood because she knows she has been doing this dance between me and her ex gf. I dont really want to leave her behind. She admits she has feelings for me but not quite the same as I have for her. I told her I didnt know how she could have the same feelings for me b/c she is so wrapped up in the ex. She knows the ex isn't good for her. And has said she knows how good I am for her. She said she thought she was moving forward and now feels stalled.
What is it that ties someone like that so they are unable to break away?
Its obvious we both love and care for one another.

She probably got used by the ex. I think it's a guilt thing on her part. She feels embarrassed and guilty about getting used and the ex gf, probably being a great manipulator, comes to her for forgiveness over and over so your gf feels like she is contributing her heart to the relationship. It sounds like the worst kind.

communication and understanding. That's what I figured out so
far. If you are down, you need to get up and start doing something with

she is having her cake and eating it too. doesn't matter why she cant seem to break away the fact is she isn't doing it so find another that will not be confused about how she feels about you. you deserve it. do u really want to be with someone that isnt sure how they feel about u ?
