Has any golfer ever...?

Won 7 stroke play tournaments in a row, in the same year? Tiger is about to win 6. Has anyone ever even won 6?

i believe Byron Nelson won 11.

Yes Byron Nelson who died last week won at least 11 in a row, although there is some debate about it possibly being 12 or 13. Tiger has a way to go. I don't think he makes it to 11.
