No. You know you car but you don't know what the other car is like (even if it from a "friend", I have had bad experience with them too). You have invested money in your car and you know how it drives.
No AC? No way.
1993? 13 year old car, it is going to have some wear and tear as the MR2 was an sport car, probably raced.
Don't make an expensive mistake.

Only if you value speed above all other considerations with the car. The MR2 will have a lot more performance ability, and you won't have to worry about someone breaking in with a knife, but otherwise the Eclipse is going to be more practical.

NO NO NO. You know the overall condition of your eclipse, the MR2 may be 100 miles from blowing a rod, plus A/C is a must have.

no! dont trade it.. we have a 02 eclipse spyder gt.. and i love it.. Dont trade it.. like the other people said.. you know how your car is and not how the 13 year old car is....... I say stick with the eclipse :)

what you need to ask your self is why that guy is wanting to get rid of that car if it is so great and worth so much. (i am assuming that he thinks its worth a ton because he is trying to trade you for a more expensive car...)
