Nougat is a type of candy confection. There are two types white and brown. The white one I believe, is made of beaten egg and sugar. The other out of nuts, honey, and carmalized sugar. Its like taffy only fluffy, light. If you are asking about the nougat in your favorite candy bar, that is a little different, that is made out of beaten egg , all kinds of oil, and sugar.
