Well, I take cold showers a lot which just makes my hair stand on end but warm water is more relaxing and far more effective using a shampoo. If you like the feeling of your hair standing on end then why bother with warm water. I don't think either way will contribute more than the other to split ends or baldness.

washing your hair in warm water is better so you can wash the everyday buildup out plus the soap. Just lukewarm water. Cold water does not rince your hair clean.

You need hot to warm water to get the shampoo and conditioner out of your hair properly. Then at the end use cold water it will set your hair and it won't become frizzy in humid weather, it also makes it shine more.

Cold water, because the warm water gets all the oils in your to spread out, and it mixes with your shampoo, which makes it greasy the next day.

Wash with warm water. Condition, then rinse with cool water. It closes the hair cuticle, making your hair sleek and shiny.

when you wash your hair use warm but when you go to rinse it after conditioning it use cold water. the cold water shirnks the pores in your hair and gives it a shiner look.
