Through personal experience i only used two sites, and funnily enough it was my ex bf of 13 years that told me about the site, Loopy love and Girls Datew for Free I gave it ago and am happy to say i met my perfect man on there a little over two years ago and married him on the 22nd sep 2006. I dont think there is actually a perfect site for online dating, theres always gonna be that element of nutters on whatever site you use, So i think use your instinct if it feels wrong then dont do it, theres millions of people looking to date so have some fun, and who knows you might get as lucky as me and find your Mr Right....happy hunting

I'm not sure where you're based, but Uniform Dating (www.uniformdating.com) is a fun dating site, based in the UK, US, Australia & Canada. A friend of mine got married at the beginning of September to a firefighter. They have lots of doctors, nurses, firefighters, police officers, pilots, cabin crew etc on the site as well as civvys. Worth a gander.
